Introduction Of Vaastu |
Vaastu is
a Sanskrit word meaning 'dwelling' or a building used for residential purposes.
Thefirst mention of Vaastu is found in the Yajurveda,
the ancient text of Hindus believed to be over 4000 years old. They cover a wide
variety of buildings like places of worship, marriage houses, party houses, palaces
and chariots and dwellings. The first book on this subject is believed to have been
written about 3000 years back by saint Vishwakarma. Vaastu is a science that
is complete in itself and can bring happiness to the whole world.
It can give all the four types of happiness
that are required to lead a full life on earth. They are:
1. Riches
2. Rightful living
3. Fulfilment of desires
4. Liberation from desires
Vaastu believers expect a Vaastu application to
provide them with instant cures and unending prosperity. The life force contained
within the earth is called vastu. This premise is extended further, and all objects
that occupy the earth containing this life energy are likewise called vastu. The earth is both a vastu and a vaastu since it is a substance
as well as a support.
